Mossel Bay, located in the Eden district of South Africa, serves as our home base. Steeped in maritime history, the town was founded by Bartholomew Diaz in 1488. It stands out as one of the rare North-facing sea towns in the country and boasts a temperate climate, which, while not equivalent to Hawaii in actual temperatures, exhibits minimal fluctuations throughout the year. Mossel Bay offers a wide array of sea and land activities, making it an ideal destination. Notably, the town derives its name from the excellent fishing opportunities available in the temperate Indian Ocean bay.

THE FISHING
Mossel Bay, situated in the Eden district of South Africa, is our home base. With a rich maritime history, the town was established by Bartholomew Diaz in 1488. It stands out as one of the few North-facing coastal towns in the country and enjoys a temperate climate. Although the temperatures may not match those of Hawaii, Mossel Bay experiences minimal fluctuations throughout the year. The town offers a diverse range of activities both on land and at sea, making it an ideal destination. Notably, it takes its name from the abundant fishing opportunities found in the temperate Indian Ocean bay.
